Philippos Soseilos is the CEO & Chairman of PwC Cyprus. He started his career with PwC in 1989 and was admitted to partnership on 1 July 2000. Prior to becoming CEO in January 2022, he was a member of the Management Board for 13 years and Head of People for 8 years.

Philippos has more than 30 years of experience as a Business Consultant with a focus on strategy issues and the successful implementation of business and digital transformation, in Cyprus and abroad, drawing from his extensive experience in leadership alignment, people consulting, as well as change and culture management.

He has worked with numerous family businesses supporting them on the full spectrum of succession issues towards successfully transitioning to the next generation. Beyond his private sector experience, Philippos has also led a number of projects relating to the reform of the public sector in Cyprus. He also has extensive experience as an accredited Executive Coach and facilitator, as well as a conference chairman and speaker.

Philippos has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, is a Fellow member of the ICAEW and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).

Andreas Papadopoulos is a manager in PwC Cyprus’s Consulting Department, with nearly a decade of experience leading business and workforce transformation initiatives. He has worked with prominent clients across the banking, insurance, government, healthcare, and shipping sectors, helping them address complex challenges in workforce planning, organizational design, change management, and upskilling.

Recognized for his strategic insights and workforce expertise, Andreas has successfully led large-scale transformation programs, enabling organizations, both public and private, to align their people strategies with business objectives, enhance performance, and build agile, future-ready structures.

He holds an MA in Human Resources Management from the University of Leeds and a BSc in Business Studies from the University of Huddersfield. A certified PROSCI Change Management Practitioner, Andreas is fluent in Greek and English and actively contributes to shaping the future of workforce transformation in Cyprus.

This presentation explains the core elements of each regulation, how they differ, and the impact they’ll have on organizations across sectors

Cyber Security Advisory, PwC Cyprus 

Christos Menelaou is the Head of Cybersecurity Advisory Services at PwC Cyprus (Technology Consulting). With over 18 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, architecture, and implementation, he specializes in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), ensuring organizational alignment with standards like ISO 27001, ISO 22301, DORA regulation and the NIS2 Directive. He has led major cybersecurity strategy projects, third-party risk assessments, and the development of Business Continuity (BCPs) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs). He has provided virtual CISO (vCISO) services to organizations, guiding the development and execution of tailored cybersecurity programs aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Christos has delivered projects across sectors including banking, energy, healthcare, transportation, and public administration. Technically, he holds deep hands-on experience with technologies such as Next-Generation Firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, SD-WAN, NAC, PAM, NDR/XDR, switches, vulnerability scanners, backup solutions, and virtualization. He also has a decade of teaching experience in higher education in the field of computer science. He holds a BSc in Computer Science, MSc In Computer Network Management from Middlesex University and MSc in Software and Systems Security from Oxford University.

Advisory, PwC Cyprus

Christiana is a cybersecurity consultant, member of the PwC Cybersecurity and Privacy team. Christiana has working knowledge on the EU General Data Protection Regulation, as she has been involved in a number of projects, helping organisations build their Data Protection  policies and comply with current regulations. Work performed so far includes drafting and reviewing Data Protection policies and Information Security policies, creating Data Protection Operations registers and assessing clients’ compliance against GDPR provisions using the relevant tools. Christiana has also been involved in several NIS2 engagements, assessing client's compliance against relevant provisions. ​

Christiana has also carried out various awareness training sessions, on issues including GDPR, DPO and Information Security. ​

Christiana has also participated in various other types of projects such as Incident Response simulation exercises and Customer Experience projects.

Qualified as an accountant incidentally as she went to London to study dance. Joined PwC in 1992 and ten years and three children later became the first female partner. Today, Cleo is the Chief Learning Officer and the Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer and a member of the Management Board of PwC Cyprus. She is also in charge of corporate responsibility and heads services offered to the shipping industry. Throughout her career her focus has always been on people. She is an accredited Executive Coach (EMCC) and certified trainer. Passionate about I&D she helps organizations develop diverse & inclusive work environments and designs and facilitates I&D trainings and workshops.

Meet Vassilios Vrachimis
Vassilios Vrachimis graduated from the University of Manchester in 1998 with a BA (Honours) in Economics, specialising in Accounting & Finance.   Prior to moving to Cyprus he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in London where he trained and worked until 2012.  He was admitted to the PricewaterhouseCoopers partnership in Cyprus in July 2015.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus and a CFA(R) Charterholder.

Vassilios specialises in delivering services to the banking sector and during his career he has worked on a number of international assignments.
