PwC - UCY Flying Start Programme

The PwC - UCY Flying Start Programme is a unique collaboration between PwC Cyprus, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the University of Cyprus (UCY).

This is an innovative and accelerated programme, which gives you the opportunity to combine your academic studies with work experience at PwC and to acquire the Chartered Accountant’s (ACA) professional qualification from the ICAEW, about a year earlier than other University graduates who join the three year training programme.

What you need to know

During the third and fourth year of your studies, you will work for two periods of five months (January - May) in PwC’s Assurance Department, as a member of a professional team on real clients. The professional experience of ten months will count towards the 36 months of experience required by the ICAEW to acquire the ACA professional qualification.

After graduating from the UCY and the successful completion of the two five-month work placements you will be employed on a full time basis by PwC with the aim of completing the remaining three modules and obtain the professional qualification.
