Eleni Pelekanou
Advocate/Senior Manager

Eleni is a Senior Manager of the PwC Network Legal Practice in Cyprus and leads the Financial Legal Services and Regulations department. She holds an LLB (Hons) in Law and an LLM in Public International Law, both from the University of Manchester. She is a qualified lawyer and a member of the Cyprus Bar Association.

Eleni has extensive experience in financial legal services and regulations as well as corporate law.

For the past 10 years, Eleni has been supporting regulated entities, including banks, MiFID II investment firms, alternative investment funds, alternative investment fund managers and payment/electronic money institutions. Her work includes the establishment of regulated entities, the drafting and review of agreements and policies, the provision of legal opinions on complex regulatory matters, as well as transactional support. Her practice also focuses on legislation related to corporate governance for regulated entities, digital‑assets, anti‑money laundering and sustainability‑related matters.
