Evangelismos Special School

At Evangelismos Special School, our volunteers seized the opportunity to re-paint walls, build a chicken coop, and ready items for the school's Christmas sales. With dedication and creativity, we adorned these freshly painted walls with vibrant drawings, infusing an abundance of color and joy into the students' daily experience.

Blood Donation

At PwC, we're incredibly proud of our team's commitment to making a positive impact through blood donation. It's truly inspiring to witness our colleagues' eagerness to give the invaluable gift of life. We're thrilled to announce the successful completion of another blood donation drive, a testament to our collective dedication to supporting those in need. Together, we continue to make a real difference in people's lives.

Alkionides Charity

During Volunteering Week, we came together to bake kourabiedes and melomakarona for Alkionides' charity Christmas bazaars. From mixing ingredients to baking, our experience was rich with warmth and teamwork. These homemade treats will be available at the bazaars, with all proceeds supporting Alkionides' charitable initiatives—spreading joy through our shared spirit of giving.

Christos Stelios Ioannou Foundation

Our volunteers took part in inclusive workshops at the Christos Stelios Ioannou Foundation, engaging in activities such as glass art, candle making, gardening, and Christmas crafts. These events provided support and encouraged inclusion for individuals with disabilities.

They explored various workshops and the premises, contributing to the decoration of Christmas trees. Additionally, some participated in gym classes and choir sessions, embracing a spirit of collaboration and community.

Move and Groove: Charity Zumba Party

Our dedicated volunteers brought a lively energy to the fundraiser with their spirited dance performances. Their passion and sense of community created an uplifting atmosphere for everyone involved.

Through their collective efforts, they successfully raised essential funds for local charities, supporting organisations that make a real impact in people's lives. This event underscored the strength of uniting to celebrate, contribute, and drive meaningful change in our community.

Farm House Aradippou

Our volunteering days brought us a heartwarming experience at the Farm House in Aradippou. We spent time with rescued animals, feeding them, caring for their living spaces, and enhancing their surroundings with attention and love. This day served as a touching reminder of the simple joys found in connecting with nature and our animal friends—moments that truly nourish the soul.

2nd Chance Dogs & Dog Valley Rescue Center

Our day was brimming with wagging tails, genuine connections, and a profound sense of purpose as we came together at the 2nd Chance Dogs Shelter in Nicosia and Dog Valley Rescue Center in Limassol. We delved into the organisation's mission and vision, gaining insights into dog behaviour. And the true magic unfolded when we interacted with the dogs, taking them for walks and helping them become more sociable and ready for adoption.

Christmas Carols at the Melathron Agapis

At Melathron “Agapi,” a joyful musical gathering organised by the Philoptochos Society of Agioi Omologites, our volunteers joined residents in singing Christmas carols, spreading festive cheer and camaraderie. The event was a celebration filled with laughter, warmth, and the spirit of giving, as everyone reveled in the season's joy. It not only brightened the residents' day but also deepened our connection with the community, showcasing the power of music and fellowship in bringing us together.

Cyprus Red Cross

Our volunteers were pivotal in organising community donations, making sure everything was ready for the Red Cross to distribute to those in need. We also took the initiative to create Christmas care packages, which the Red Cross will deliver to underserved families. These carefully crafted packages not only bring festive cheer but also offer much-needed support to these families.

Ena Emeis

To mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December, we at the PwC Foundation teamed up with "Ena Emeis" to assess accessibility in public spaces. This partnership shines a light on the hurdles faced by people with disabilities and champions the need for inclusive urban design. By focusing on practical evaluations, this initiative highlights the crucial role of inclusivity and community backing, raising awareness and motivating action towards a fairer environment for all.

Eleousa of Kykkos

At Eleousa tou Kykkou, our volunteers teamed up with adults with intellectual disabilities to create unique handmade crafts. This collaboration not only offers participants a useful creative outlet but also helps generate funds through sales at the Christmas bazaar.

Beyond financial support, this initiative is vital for encouraging social integration and showcasing members' talents and contributions within the community.

Join us in making a difference this Christmas! Support the Centre for Childhood Cancer at the Karaiskakio Foundation, where every child's smile lights up the world.

We're excited to have sponsored the first week of December on the Karaiskakio Foundation's Digital Advent Calendar. From 1 December to 5 December, which is International Volunteer Day, we shared their virtual advent calendar on our social media to boost their Christmas fundraising efforts.
