Nayia holds an LLB from the University of Warwick and an LLM (Corporate Finance) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the BPP Law School in London. Nayia is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Cyprus and holds the CySEC Advanced Certification.
Nayia joined the firm in November 2018 with a special interest in the Funds industry as well as MiFID II regulated entities. Prior to joining the firm, Nayia worked for 8 years at the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (as an in house counsel and as advisor at the Policy Department), where she gained extensive experience in the regulation and supervision of the financial services sector. Before that, Nayia spent several years at established private practice law firms focusing on areas of corporate law, banking and finance.
