On 30 January 2019, a group of 6th grade students from "The English School" spent the day working at PwC, within the context of the annual "Youth Action Day" initiative. This is the 2nd consecutive year that the organisation supports this great initiative.
Instead of receiving payment for their work, the students will be donating their remuneration to the "Karaiskakio Foundation" in support of buying machinery for the new “Centre for Children’s Cancer” wing and embracing the vision “for a world without leukaemia”.
During their time at PwC, The English School students had the opportunity to experience a real working environment, learn more about the professional services sector and its relevant professional qualifications, as well as attend a workshop to enhance their communication skills.
PwC congratulated The English School students for their initiative and committed to continue supporting the "Youth Action Day" in the future.
