Summer Internship Programme

Overview

At PwC, we place a lot of emphasis on our Summer Internship Programme, as most of our Summer Interns progress to become permanent colleagues upon their graduation.

Through the Summer Internship Programme, you will have the opportunity to develop your employability skills, by working for a few weeks in one of our Lines of Service. The programme is designed to give you a real-life experience of what a graduate career with PwC would be like.

If you perform well during your internship, you may return back to your final year of university studies with a job offer upon graduation.

 

Entry requirements

  • Academic background:

- Be an undergraduate university student, in any field of study

- Expect to graduate from university with a minimum grade as follows:

University of Cyprus 7,5/10

Other local universities 3,33/4

Greek universities 7,5/10

UK universities 2:1 (i.e. 60-69%)

USA universities 3,33/4

 

  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in Greek will be considered an advantage
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team oriented
  • Commercially aware
  • Interest in pursuing a professional accounting qualification upon graduation (i.e. ACA, ACCA) will be considered an advantage

 

*Priority will be given to students in their penultimate year of studies

 

When to apply

The application process for the Summer Internship Programme commences in December each year and ends in April. 

Interested applicants should be at their 1st or 2nd year of studies (for UK Universities) and 2nd or 3rd (for UCY, USA and other local Universities).

The internship takes place in June-July of that year.

It is highly recommended that candidates apply the earliest time possible as this scheme is very competitive.

 

 

Number of interns recruited

Each year, approximately 25 high-calibre university students are recruited, after successfully going through the recruitment process.

 

Dates

The programme is offered during the summer months.

 

Location

The programme is offered in our Nicosia and Limassol offices. University students from other towns are welcome to apply for a position in any of these two offices.
