Nikolas is an experienced indirect tax professional at PwC Cyprus specialising in VAT, customs and international trade, excise duties and environmental taxes.He has extensive knowledge of the Cypriot and EU legal framework on indirect taxation. He has also participated in short-term secondments in PwC Netherlands and PwC Middle East. His areas of expertise include the provision of indirect tax advisory services to a portfolio of clients from different industries, the preparation of indirect tax rulings, the performance of indirect tax reviews to identify risks and opportunities and the assistance of clients during indirect tax investigations. He is also involved in the delivery of internal and external indirect tax related seminars.
He holds the ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) and BFP (Business and Finance Professional) professional qualifications of ICAEW and he is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Leeds with First and a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics from the University of Limassol (former CIIM) with Distinction.
