Aim of the course

The aim of the seminar is the presentation, analysis and interpretation of Financial Statements as well as the preparation and control of simple budgets for companies.  The middle and top management of a company, without any relevant accounting background, after attending the seminar, will be in a position to understand the figures that appear in a set of Financial Statements and interpret the performance of their company.

  • Ways to influence the ratios
  • Preparation of simple budgets
    • Collection of information from various departments

  • Preparation of budgets for the whole company
  • Flexing the budget based on changes in conditions
  • Controlling the budget 
    • Calculating variances between budgeted performance and actual performance
  • Interpretation of variances and analysis of the reasons for the existence of these variances
  • Corrective actions to be taken by the Management
