PwC Easter Bazaar

Money raised from sale of handicrafts made by employees donated to charities

The third consecutive Easter Bazaar of PwC Cyprus was held with great success at the organisation’s offices in Nicosia and Limassol on 7 April and 11 April respectively.

Taking part in the bazaar were employees with their own creations, handicrafts and foods which they sold to colleagues with the aim of raising money for charity. Revenue from the sales will be donated to various charities such as “One Dream, One Wish”, the “Sophia Foundation for Children” and the “Pancyprian Volunteering Coordinating Council.”

Commenting on the initiative, PwC CEO Mr Evgenios Evgeniou, stressed the importance the organisation attaches to volunteerism and charity activities held within the framework of its Corporate Responsibility programme and thanked employees for their enthusiastic and long-standing participation. “We are proud of the social sensitivity demonstrated by the organisation’s employees. We recognise our responsibility to society and continue, with our people as our biggest allies, to contribute in every way to efforts to achieve social cohesion and sustainable development.”
